An inspection report dated September 17 reveals that the residence Txara I of Donostia, a public building that is managed under concession by the private company Biharko Gipuzkoa, fails to meet the minimum ratios of doctors, nurses, monitors, physiotherapists and psychologists. As for the staff, the ratios required in terms of assistants are met, but only in that professional category. The same does not occur with the doctor – the holidays of the doctor were not covered by anyone – or with the nurses – in August there were no usual relays – and there is no physiotherapist – it was claimed ignorance that it was a mandatory figure. The psychiatry service was offered by telephone since the beginning of the pandemic and demanded its return for at least two hours a month, while the psychology team also fails to meet the ratios.
