The 2011 edition of the Zino “Embassy Selection” has been unveiled and will begin arriving in stores on September 1st.
The cigar, which has a limited production of 30,000 cigars, is in a robusto vitola, measuring 5″ long with a 52 ring gauge. The filler is made up of a trio of Dominican ligeros – Criollo ligero, Piloto ligero and San Vicenete ligero from two growing regions. The binder is a Dominican Criollo, while the cigar is wrapped in a Ecuadorian special sungrown, known as ‘Selection 702,’ and is described by the company as “a dark, supple leaf” that gives the cigar “a fascinating balance and ensures a multi-faceted smoking experience.”
It is packaged in 10-count burgundy colored boxes with gold logos and lettering, and has a suggested price of $10.30 per cigar or $103.00 per box, before taxes.
