Though Kelly Services declined to name the client company for whom they were looking to fill hundreds of job openings at a Raleigh job fair Thursday, one likely bet seems to be Health IT Services Group. A division of Fresenius Medical Care, a German company that provides kidney dialysis, Health IT Services Group provides technology resources for nephrologists (kidney doctors) to use electronic medical records.
The job fair drew over 800 attendees vying for one of the hundreds of open slots Kelly Services plans to fill, including technology positions as well as other openings.
Health IT Services Group has leased more than 12,000 square feet in the American Tobacco Campus in Durham. Unlike most companies offering to bring jobs to North Carolina, however, Health IT Services Group did not ask for financial incentives from the state.
Raleigh-based Capitol Broadcasting owns the American Tobacco complex, which has drawn other tech companies to its campus.
