To many, it is a fundamental belief that when we honor our relationships, we not only have a more meaningful life, but we have significantly more satisfaction and pleasure from our relationships. Our relationships, whether they are with a spouse, a child, a friend, a coworker, a customer, or whomever, are typically among the most important components of our life. We learn and grow through our relationships; we learn compassion, empathy, faith, love, and many other important lessons from developing and maintaining relationships.
It is when we give of our self in a relationship, without looking at what and how much we are receiving; we learn how to really love another. Additionally, by so doing, we create a positive and loving vibrational energy cycle. By serving our relationships and doing for or giving to our partner/spouse, our child, friend, coworker, customer, or whomever, we become a more loving, kinder, and empathetic individual. Because we have sent out into the universe a loving, giving energy, in response we are most often the recipients of such loving action. In a sense, we become for all of our relationships, what we desire for our self.
This love we create, by truly giving of our self in relationship not only helps our soul to grow, but it increases our energy flow, and we attain more insights, intuitive guidance, and help in our life, creating an upward spiral of energy and love. This higher energy is a result of combining our energy with another. When we merge energy together, we create a higher energy consciousness state.
In the end, we find the most satisfaction from our life, not from what we have accumulated, not from wealth, but with contentment from our satisfying relationships. Finally, it is with our attitude that we feel additionally blessed. Groucho Marx said: “Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead; tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it. ”
