Ron Webb, Chief Executive Officer at Holy Rosary Healthcare in Miles City, announced his retirement effective Friday, Sept. 9. Webb has served as CEO at Holy Rosary since 2009. Paul Lewis, current Vice President of Finance and Support Services at Holy Rosary, will serve as interim CEO during the search for a new CEO. Lewis has 18 years health care experience including serving as CEO for a hospital Washington state and COO at a hospital in Idaho. An alumni of Brigham Young University, Lewis is a native Montanan.
Monty Lesh, Chair of the Holy Rosary Healthcare Board of Directors, cited Webb’s commitment to improving quality, patient safety and operations during his tenure. Lesh highlighted several significant accomplishments under Webb’s leadership including Recruitment of five physicians and expansion of the Holy Rosary outpatient clinic and overall hospital medical staff. Webb also implemented a hospitalist program to provide specialized care to hospitalized patients,and adopted a new critical access hospital reimbursement model improving the hospital’s financial performance. During his time in Miles City the healthcare organization also saw patient satisfaction and improved quality performance as well as the completion of two major surveys resulting in continued accreditation from The Joint Commission and Medicare.
