How many ways do we love the Duchess of Cambridge?
For Kate, she loves her ensembles at least twice. For the pre-wedding party for Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall yesterday, the Duchess wore the same green silk ‘Maja’ Diane von Furstenberg design we saw her in while she was visiting California.
Today the Duchess donned yet another previously seen look to the wedding of Zara Phillips. The gold jacquard coat Kate wore was also worn to the 2006 wedding of Laura Parker Bowles and to a book signing. Her past looks were accessorized once with an ivory and black fascinator and another time with a solid black hat with a top curl. Today she selected a large ivory tilt hat with floral and bow details. She accented with her signature nude L.K. Bennett pumps and L. K. Bennett Clutch.
For those of you who wish to improve your wardrobe, Kate does something important when selecting her pieces. She does not pick fad items. She selects classic lines in fairly traditional colors. Some great classic basics are an asset to any wardrobe. A great blazer, pencil skirt, turtleneck and a basic black dress are some examples. The one thing that is tough for most of us is getting into the designs we wore several years ago.
Kate sets a wonderful example of how to be fashionably frugal.
