If you’re looking to beat the heat this weekend in San Diego, there may just be a place for you to go.
According to a 10News report, a three-day music festival in East County is being hosted via a clothing-optional community.
The event called “Nudestock” is being hosted by the DeAnza Springs Resort near Jacumba. Six bands are set to perform from Friday through Sunday at the resort for spectators who will show up as clothing optional. Founded more than 10 years ago, DeAnza Springs was started by David Landman, who purchased the property specifically to start a nudist colony. With more than 500 acres, the colony now serves as the largest nudity community in North America, with its 700 members making iit the ninth largest in the nation.
“Nudestock” has been plugged solely via social media, and visitors to the event can choose to be clothed or in the buff.
It costs $75 to attend the three-day event, and more details are available by calling (619) 766-4301.
So, would you show up in your birthday suit to listen to some music?
