The Robie House Museum is located at 5757 S. Woodlawn ave, Chicago, IL on the University of Chicago’s campus. Fredrick Robie’s house was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and considered one of the most important buildings in the history of american architecture.
Since the summer, they have been holding family tours for lego and nature architects. The tours are actually given by kids (specially trained 5th – 10th graders) making it even more exciting, for families to see. Kids watching kids in action, as junior tour guides show off their stuff.
The Twilight tour (minimum 15 and maximum 50 people) includes tour, cocktails & hors d’oeuvres for a fabulously intimate group experience. The Robie House Museum also can be rented out for a one-of-a-kind special event. This Sept 29th the Hyde Park Jazz Festival tour will take place, and also the October After Hours tour will be held Fridays 5pm – 8pm, featuring music and refreshments.
