September 11th marks the season finale of True Blood, (entitled “And When I Die”) and from all of the spoilers going around, you’d be able to come to the conclusion that it will be a big one! Just watch the teaser for the epic finale, over to the left!
It’s a Halloween showdown apparently. And not everyone will survive. The series creator, Alan Ball gives us some info on what we can look forward to very soon:
“Antonia is the toughest foe that Bill, Eric, Pam and Jessica have ever fought; that Sookie’s decision choosing between Eric and Bill is her toughest decision she’s ever had to make. And there is a body count by the end. It’s more than one death–people we know and love–and it’s pretty shocking”
But that’s not all. We will also be graced with the return of at least two past characters will make for a return:
“One is beloved, the other despised. One reveal is terrifying, and one is emotional and powerful.”
Who do you think it’ll be? I’m betting on Russell and Godric. But we shall see! And now, all the True Blood fans complaining about certain storylines being unrelated to main ones, will finally be pleasantly surprised:
“A lot of things that seemed like they were happening outside of the witch story find their way into it. You’re going to think things are finished when they are not.”
Recently, during an interview with Stephen Moyer, evenmore spoilers concerning the Season 4 finale and next summer’s fifth season:
“Obviously I’m not going to tell you what happens at the end of this season, but it’s very much heading towards already what is going to happen in season five,” he said. “And it sounds amazing.”
“Amazing because our favorite bloodsuckers, werewolves and humans will have to contend with yet another supernatural something. I know there is going to be an omnipresent power in season five,” he hinted. “I know what it is. I think we could be heading towards an even greater season.”
“If they go where they’re going, it will be amazing and upset a lot of people, which we always like.”
And now we wait. Only one more episode until the season finale. And as sad as I am that we are so near the end of the season, I can’t help but be purely excited, as I should be. And as a True Blood viewer all I can hope and wish for is to be challenged with the uncertain danger of next season and its plans to “upset” some of the audience. Again, the True Blood Season 4 finale will be airing September 11th!
