On Sunday’s new episode of “True Blood,” we did see a rather shocking moment as Portia Bellefleur realized Bill Compton is actualy one of her own ancestors — which prompted him to quickly put an end to the physical relationship that the two parties had struck up as of late.
However, is this really the end? Speaking to TV Guide, showrunner Alan Ball tends to suggest that this will not ultimately be the case:
“It certainly puts a crimp in their relationship … “Her being a lawyer, she may try to argue why it shouldn’t be such a big deal.”
Even if she does do this, don’t expect it to actually work. Bill has a very complicated view on morals, and while he may be willing to lie and kill, dating someone who is a part of his own family tree just seems to be too far out of the realm of possibility for him.
What do you think should happen with this relationship?
