If the limoncello test-run has you in the mood to try another something new, now is a great time to look into VeeV.

It includes Skinny Pink Lemonade, Superfruit Cooler, Watermelon Martini, Pomegranate Margarita and Acai Mojito for a little summertime bliss. (It’s way too hot to cook tonight anyway, isn’t it?)
- VeeV is infused with acai, a Brazilian fruit being touted as the world’s preeminent superfruit. No one is claiming that acai somehow makes healthy cocktails, but it does make delicious ones. The berry-like flavor of acai is blended with prickly pear and acerola cherry for a unique flavor.
- VeeV is eco-friendly. The distillery uses renewable wind energy, and all ingredients other than the acai are produced locally. The bottles are made with partially recycled glass, printed with soy ink and capped with a synthetic cork, and with every bottle purchased, $1 is donated to Brazilian Rainforest preservation. Rainforest on the Rocks cocktail recipe
- 2 oz. VeeV
- 1.5 oz. fresh watermelon juice
- 8 sprigs fresh mint
- Lime wedge
- Dash of sugar
Muddle the mint sprigs and the lime wedge in the bottom of a shaker. Add VeeV, watermelon juice, and a dash of sugar, and shake with ice until chilled. Strain into an ice-filled Collins glass. Serve garnished with a watermelon spear.
