Partners for Pets mission is to eradicate euthanasia of adoptable health pets, support sterilization surgeries for cats and dogs to trim down the number of animals born every year, to work in partnership with local shelters in a foster/adoption program and to alert the community about the extreme importance of sterilization, permanent identification and making a lifetime commitment.
Partners for Pets people are all volunteers who donate their time in various ways. They go to local shelters and salvage cats and dogs scheduled to be euthanized. The animals are looked at by a veterinarian, sterilized, and micro chipped. The animal then stays in the care of a good foster home until it can be everlastingly adopted. As a part of the fostering process they have the distinctive opportunity to get to be familiar with the animal in a home environment. They are able to review each pet’s individual needs and establish what the best possible home for the animal would be. They next locate a well-suited, enduring, and loving home for the pet though an extensive interview process. Each adoption is secured with a contract.
Cat adoption fees are $75. Adoptions consist of spay/neuter, microchip, rabies, deworming, vaccinations, and vet check. All cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV.. All of their foster pets have lived in individual foster homes, so they pretty much know their temperaments, activity levels,, and special needs for a home. Cats are to be indoor pets only and of course, cannot be declawed.
