It’s Monday morning and you’re tired from the weekend and let’s face it, who’s excited about Monday mornings? As you reluctantly drag yourself to your closet you pick a few things out, get dressed, make some coffee and go. Did you even have time to iron? Let alone pick out an ensemble that makes you look your best? Probably not.
In San Diego, if you hate maintaining your clothing there are several dry cleaning services that will take care of it for you and also ones that pick up and drop off.
The fact of the matter is—is that if you rush to get dressed during the work week, you look exactly that way—rushed. Not put together and uncoordinated is not the best image to put forward so here is the secret to dressing for success at work: plan ahead.
By coordinating and even ironing outfits during a non-work day such as Sunday, you will wake up Monday through Friday able to look your best in a flash. You will also stand out in a good way in the workplace just by planning ahead.
You may ask why? “I look fine and I get up and pick out my outfits daily.” Do what works for you. But by coordinating all outfits on say a Sunday, you are creating a story and really putting thought into how you look during the week. Isn’t a story better when a layout is created first? Doesn’t it flow better? I’ll let you choose. When the weekend comes you can take all the time you want to put together a look. But during the week, with time restraints, it’s a bit harder.
