It is very important to find the right balance, the ying and the yang of the food that you prepare” With a world class Chinese and Thai restaurant onsite, Chef Mike Wehrle maintains the highest standards by having each chef from the other Asian restaurants prepare the Chinese and Thai dishes that you eat at the buffet.
This is not fusion food, but authentic Asian cuisine. “Guests come to Thailand to get away from fusion food, we want to offer them the real thing, but also have available the high quality international and Western food they expect to find” continued Chef Mike Wehrle. Additionally, all the breads and pastries are baked fresh throughout the day and night and even the olives on the buffet are marinated onsite to ensure freshness and quality. Chef Mike Wehrle’s philosophy of food stems from his “back to basics” principles of high quality, simple ingredients, authentic tastes and contemporary presentation. Chef Mike Wehrle believes a satisfying dish should “appeal to all the senses”, he welcomes visitors and local residents alike to come by and sample the new menu and authentic flavors available at the River Cafe & Terrace.
