Some people say that it’s hard to find great things to do with the family. Emphasis on the word “GREAT”. What you need to realize is that the definition of the word great is – remarkable in degree, magnitude or effectiveness. That being said how hard is it to find something “REMARKABLE” to do. Not hard at all because this Saturday (tomorrow) are the Providence Waterfires. Lighting will starting at about 8:05pm so be there or be square. Waterfire Providence is great, remarkable, wonderful and amazing!
Since Providence is the home of the Waterfire it gives local stay-at-home dads a great chance to relax in the beauty of the city by fire light in a rich environment of people who are all looking to do the same thing – take it easy! No rushing, no hustle no bustle and no one is running late for anything. Its just time to relax with your kids down by the basin or over by the gargoyles or this time if you get there early maybe you can get a seat for the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra performance. That’s right the RI Orchestra will be playing Saturday night at the Waterfires. A great opportunity for something new, something authentic and a one of a kind special event for fathers to experience with their children. It can truly be said that no two Waterfires will ever be the same and this one looks to be especially exceptional.
Check out all of the Waterfire festivities at their website Waterfire.Org and plan to be there tomorrow night with the rest of the Rhode Island’s dads, husbands, boyfriends & fathers. What’s your favorite Waterfire moment? Let me know now or after Saturday’s historic Waterfire with the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra.
