The Nashville Sounds and Minor League Baseball at it’s best!
The Nashville Sounds are on the road in Iowa with the games split up to this point, they have won half and lost half, two games remaining tonight and tomorrow in this series against their division rival, the Iowa Cubs.
Upon the completion of this series against Iowa, the Nashville Sounds will be in Memphis for a 4 game series there.
As the season for our favorite Minor League Baseball team winds down, we want to remind you of some of the fun activities that take place during the home games at Greer Stadium in Nashville.
During the season, you could enjoy ‘Dollar Hot Dog Night’, and ‘Money Monday’ – Money Monday being involved with Manager Money in special activities.
There was also Kraft Singles Tuesday Night Tickets. There was a Peanut Free Zone in Section D, and Firestone Friday Fireworks, along with Fritos Family Fridays.
Nashville’s News 2 sponsored a ‘Fireworks Show’, and there were more Purity Faith Nights. Great Clips Charity Cuts, and Autism Awareness Night were some of the events at the home base of our Nashville Sounds.
Purity Sundae Sunday (are we talking double here?), and a Summer Reading Club Game were included in the promotions this season.
One we would enjoy would be the Taco Bell Thowback Thursday, as long as we didn’t have to ‘throwback’ our taco.
There was also a ‘Kids Eat Free Wednesday’ and a ‘Sounds Hat Giveaway’ event, along with a ‘Girl Scout Night’, Fan Appreciation Night and Autograph Day.
Be sure you sign up for season tickets next season for an enjoyable time at the old ball park with our own Minor League Baseball Team – The Nashville Sounds!
