Tonight, August 25, marks the final summer concert program at Bridgeport Village in SW Portland. The fundraising summer concert series benefits The Foundation for Tigard Tualatin Schools campaign called Bridging the Gap, through food and drink sales. Additional donations to the foundation can be made at Bridgeport Village during the concert.
Tonight’s performers, the last of 8 shows in the series, will be The Beatniks, who’ll take the audience through the best tunes of the 1960’s and 70’s. The four-man group will take the stage under the giant gazebo in the center rotunda at Bridgeport Village from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Student performers will warm up the crowd at 5:30pm.
This family-friendly show also features a wine and beer garden, reserved seating and a large children’s play area. The free show promises to be a busy one, so get your seats early! If you’re on the fence about which car to take, make sure you drive the Audi as all Audi owners get free valet parking. For the rest of us, it’s $4.
