‘The Glee Project’ video: the gang does ‘Teenage Dream’

July 30, 2011

In what is a bit of a surprising move considerings its history on “Glee” proper, the cast of “The Glee Project” has chosen to belt out a rather major hit on Sunday in Katy Perry’s iconic “Teenage Dream.” For the second time in three weeks, the contestants are split up into duos — with some shining more than others.

Based on the new video released by the show (which you can see to the left), here where where some of the stronger competitors stand:

  1. Damian and Lindsay – Easily the best duet of the three. These two had fantastic chemistry, a great vocal sensibility, and the natural talent to make it all the way to the end. (Who would have thought that based on Damian’s early struggles?)
  2. Alex and Samuel – Considering that these two had the smallest amount to work with when it came to their setting for the video, they actually did a respectable job. As good as Alex’s vocals were, though, it was actually Samuel who popped off the camera more when it came to making us believe the two were in love.
  3. Cameron and Hannah – Don’t blame Hannah at all for this, since really did a pretty fantastic job. This was just awkward. Cameron not only looked uncomfortable, but he acted as though he was scared that touching Hannah the wrong way would get lightning sent down on him from the heavens.

Based on this video alone, who do you think is in trouble?
