The Annual Blauvelt Sons of Italy Italian Feast and Carnival comes back to Rockland County in September of 2011!
From September 15 thru September 18, 2011 the Blauvelt Sons of Italy, Rockland Lodge #2176, will be hosting their Annual Italian Feast and Carnival in Tappan, NY at The Masonic Park Fair Grounds, 89 Western Highway.
The 4-day event will span from Thursday to Sunday. Admittance is free, Free Parking and there will be both kiddie and adult rides at the carnival which adjoins the feast. There will be free live entertainment throughout the 4 days featuring acts such as Louis Vanaria & The Tony T Orchestra, Steve Maglio, The Star Dreamers, Alfio, Jenna Esposito, Al Sapienza, Kick Start Charlie, Still Saffire, Dennis Dell, Eric DeLauro, DJ Felice Altomare and many others! Celebrities will also be making appearances at the feast and some will be presented with OSIA Awards of the Arts by local actor Michael Rispoli who was presented with one himself at last year’s feast. Armand Assante also accepted an OSIA Award of the Arts at last year’s feast which was presented by local actor/filmmaker Paul Borghese of Tappan Films and then Blauvelt OSIA President Ken Lee. Slated so far to be presented a Literary Award is Italian American writer Richard Vetere. Additional Celebrity honorees and attendees will be announced in a future Press Release.
