NVIDIA and Samsung made the joint announcement today of the brand new Galaxy R smartphone, which includes the NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor.
The Galaxy R runs on Android 2.3 and features a 4.19-inch screen, along with a GeForce GPU with support for Flash.
The device can capture 720p HD video and offer full 1080p HD playback.
There is 8GB of built-in memory with support for up to 32GB from an SD card.
“Samsung’s newest super phone shows off Tegra’s multimedia power, and is a great example of what consumers expect from one of the world’s top phone makers,” said Michael Rayfield, general manager of NVIDIA’s mobile business.
