On July 16, 2011 Team Xcessive Speedz held their car show at Willamette Park in West Linn, Oregon. The show was held in conjunction with the West Linn Old Time fair which help bring a lot of spectators to the event.
With it raining most of the morning, attendance for the show looked to be on shaky ground. But by 10:30 am the vehicles started rolling in. And with categories ranging from 1930’s to tuners there was a nice variety of vehicles to look at.
Myself and a few other builders and local businesses sponsored awards for the show. Highline Customs of Portland, Oregon was the sponsor of the Best of show award. Xcessive Speedz had a special award in honor of President and founder Kevin Krieger’s mom who passed away, she was a car builder and loved going to car shows.
In the end the show had a little over 70 vehicles attend, and with roughly a 3 hour break in the weather. The vehicles were judged and the awards handed out. And for what started out as a wet morning turned into one of best car club events so far this year.
Don’t forget to check out the slideshow to see some of the vehicles that attended this event.
