The Arlington Heights Historical Museum is associated and linked with the village, park district, library, and historical society of Arlington Heights, and together they provide fabulous programs and events. The museum is located at 110 W. Fremont st., Arlington Heights, IL. They have many buildings and many events, like the shop is located in the Old Soda Pop Factory, and the Banta House, has Martha Mill’s doll collection of more that 1000 dolls displayed. Hours are Tuesday – Friday at 10am to 4pm. They have available group tours of 6 or more (by appointment) on Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm and 3pm. For meetings and conferences the museum has rooms available to be rented out, prices depend on rooms, days, and times.
American Girl move over. They have a holiday tea event at the museum coming December 11th 2011. This special event for girls requires registration (1pm and 3pm) so dont miss out. They will be serving finger foods, sweets, tea and punch. The atmosphere will be festive with holiday decorations, music and laced linen awaiting all (and their dolls) arrival.
