Stories from St. Paul Pioneer Press today 8-18-11 range from the heroism of St. Paul Police officers saving a toddlers life, to a man attempting to ignite his partner and mother of his children (in front of the children,) claiming he will end her life today. The range from heroism to sadistic behavior seems vast; leaving many to wonder why is there such a huge gap of ethics, values, and overall deportment for individuals in our society. Furthermore, when reading books on angels, miracles, or belonging to an Internet site such as Spiritual Networks, I find there are countless miracles and spiritually mystical experiences occurring continuously.
As individuals, many who experience an intense mystical, Divine, or spiritual encounter, will choose to write of the occurrence and manner of this manifestation in their life. Yet because we are individuals we often believe these experiences are solitary unique instances, even with the vast communication available and Internet connection so prevalent. We often cannot see the big pattern, that God is with us, trying to help us, along our path. Though we are each unique and our experiences unique, the overall pattern seems to be one of interconnectedness, Divine help available and prevalent on our planet, and an overall push for the growth and evolvement of humanity.
Some wonder how one can believe in reincarnation and soul interconnectedness while there are more people on earth today, than in any time in earth’s history and why there is so much inhumanity towards our fellow man and other creatures on this planet. I believe the answer springs from the fact that more souls have been created from the energy source from which we have all been created (God.) As young souls, these newly created people, are more preoccupied with earthly pleasures, more hedonistic in nature, and more self-centered and narcissistic. Little time is spent considering the ramifications a young soul will feel of his/her actions upon others. A younger soul will often have trouble seeing the big picture of life and will live for the moment, as they have not had the experience of learning lessons or living many lives.
As a result of the onslaught of young, new souls on earth, maybe God has been more actively involved with more individual’s lives, reminding us of our complete interconnected nature. I know I am amazed at the sheer number of stories I have read about near death experiences, sudden mystical experiences, and the overall prevalence of God and the angels in modern society. Even with the incredibly sad or tragic violence we read about, I believe it is time for hope. We are clearly being helped, guided, and reminded of God’s presence and our interconnectedness nature. Moreover, we are reading and hearing of these experiences more and more. If we are not one of the recipients of these experiences, we hear about them from others, and we are all enriched.
Thank-you for reading.
