Rodrigo de Pol, the current Udinese fudballer, has today signed a five-match contract with Atletico Madrid.
“I’m a Spanish champion and I know it’s a big responsibility. This is a big step in my career”, said De Pol.
He played for the Argentina national team at the recently concluded America’s Cup, where his team triumphed 1-0 in the final against Brazil
.De Pol started his career at Rasing, but moved to Valencia in 2014. After two years with Udinese, he played 184 matches and scored 34 goals in five years.
He will be coached at Atletico by his compatriot Dijo Simeone.
“I enjoy playing under him because I grew up watching him play for the Argentine national team”, the 27-year-old fudbaler said.
