An area of high pressure, that has kept West Michigan under the sunshine and with mild temperatures, will shift to the east and allow a cold front to move across the region on Saturday. This front may stall across the region and allow waves of energy to ride along the disturbance producingthunderstorms with heavy rain. No severe weather is anticipated but flooding could be a problem with locally heavy rainfall.
