The summer of 2011 is coming to a close soon, and kids are going back to school, families are returning from their vacations. But, there is still time to enjoy the sights and sounds of summer. Check your local newspaper, and the internet for your local county fair. Promotions often include free admission on the first day between certain times. We care days with free admission for things such as school supplies, or gently used clothing, toys etc…Fairs are a great way to enjoy precious memories with your family and friends. There is something for everyone at the Fair. Young children, will love free petting zoos.. Free entertainment is going on everyday .
Because it’s summer, many Inland Empire Parks are having special events,and free concerts. Local neighborhood plunges are still open through mid September. Car Shows are big at Perris Hill Park in San Bernardino. Chili cook offs, Safety fairs, and the list goes on. Of-course there is always the family picnic. Pack a lunch, grab a blanket, find a good shade tree, and your all set for your pic nic.
Carnivals seem to be everywhere right now. Who doesn’t remember the fun, of going to a neighborhood carnival with your family. The rides, cotton candy, balloons, and the poney rides. This is a wonderful way to enjoy the summer. Check churches, schools, and local parks for carnivals in your community.
Why not take your family to a matinee’. Many movie theaters offer discount prices, at certain times of the day. Search the internet , or check your local newspaper. Often times it takes doing your homework, to find the best deals out there. It will be worth the your while. Take some time, and you will be surprised at the great deals still available.
