In a sure sign that the 2011-12 season is fast approaching, the Florida Everblades have announced that single game tickets will go on sale for the first time this weekend. Tickets for the two pre-season contests with the Chicago Express and the season opening series against the Gwinnett Gladiators will be available beginning on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 10:00am.
The exhibition games against Chicago at 7:35pm on October 7, 2011 and at 7:00pm on October 8, 2011 will be the initial opportunity for hockey fans in Southwest Florida to inspect Germain Arena’s new video scoreboard. The 2010-11 squad posted a record of 37-30-5 and was bounced in the first round of the Kelly Cup playoffs. They hope to improve in the new season and would certainly benefit from strong fan support on home-ice.
