What began as a heated exchange of words between two women quickly escalated into a physical melee involving several patrons of Salt Lake City’s Club Elevate on Thursday night. Police were brought in to break up the brawl, but not before several people were injured. At least two of them were allegedly struck by beer bottles.
No one was arrested, but some of the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment. None of the injuries were life threatening. The District Attorney’s office is currently reviewing the case to determine whether charges will be filed against any of the participants.
This is the second time this summer that Club Elevate has been the site of a violent incident. In June, a man was stabbed outside the club during a fight.
