A weak wave will move through the Clarksville area today triggering afternoon showers and thunderstorms to the region. Some storms may produce gusty winds and heavy rain in a short period of time, but no sustained severe weather is expected. Temperatures will respond to the sunny skies as highs will be in the middle to upper 90s Monday and Tuesday, and once again flirting with 100 by Wednesday. This ridge will last through most of the workweek again as the next major chance of precipitation will be next weekend.
