Sports are special.
It’s one of the only times in our civilized society that we as fans can yell wildly, throw people up in the air as a celebration and dress in the most outrageous outfits that show off your pride for your favorite team.
When I was a freshman at Colorado State, way back in 2003, my dorm floormates hand made three pairs of knee-high socks, with thick, horizontal and alternating green and gold stripes along with “CSU” placed in random spots. One of the ladies didn’t want to wear the socks, so they asked me if I wanted to adopt them. I of course obliged.
For the next eight years, I wore the socks with pride, getting lots of intrigued stares and excited exclamations of “Nice socks!”
Of course they were washed after wears (which is why they weren’t lucky after the first season) and they became a part of my fan persona that enjoyed attending Rams’ games.
And, what could be better than lucky socks?
How about a sweet Foamhead?
What’s a Foamhead?
Well, it’s exactly what it sounds like, it’s made of foam and goes on your head, made to look like your favorite team’s mascot.
And unlike many times, there’s actually a Rams’ Foamhead!
Some have been seen in the student section at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium, but imagine if lots of fans had them on.
Of course, they also have the rival CU Buffs and an NFL Denver Broncos Foamheads and HelmetHeads (simulation helmets) too.
The best thing about foamheads? The best thing about Foamheads? There’s a deal on them today, the promotion will be live starting at 1:00 AM MST through LivingSocial deal being featured for 24 hours on their partner platform, AmazonLocal. The deal is $25 for a $50 towards a Foamhead or HelmetHead on Foamheads.com and can be used for up to 6 months.

This is a great deal, and an easy way to show your pride in the green and gold of the CSU Rams whenever you attend sporting events at Hughes or Moby Arena.
And stay tuned for more in the CSU Rams Fans Series including lyrics to the fight song, Fum’s Song, and other traditions that are need-to-know for any fan attending a Rams football, basketball or volleyball game.
