Forecast Discussion: High pressure over Ohio currently will give Providence one more day of sunshine. Temperatures today will be near 90, and state beaches along the south shore will feel a sea breeze this afternoon. Temperatures at the beach will be in the lower to middle 80’s. By tomorrow, a cold front in Canada will move over the state. We may see a few showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon. By Tuesday morning, the front will move offshore. We will see sunshine through the day, but another weak cold front will pass through on Wednesday. It will bring more clouds, with the chance of some showers and thunderstorms until Thursday morning. A new high will provide us with beautiful weather on Thursday and Friday. By Saturday, a very weak area of low pressure will move over the state, and could produce some isolated showers.
