Are you ready for an evening with other art enthusiasts enjoying hors d’ oeuvres, sipping fine wines and cocktails, dessert an art auction and salon to help a local non-profit organization? Well, this event is for you.
On Friday September 9th Project Angel Heart will host their 10th Annual “Art for Life” event. The night will start at 6 p.m. and end at 10 p.m. at the Artwork Network, 878 Santa Fe Dr., Suite 2, Denver, CO 80204. A crowd of over 500 people will gather to share a night of fun with an art auction featuring over a hundred artistic creations donated by local and national artists to bid on.
As you are mingling amongst the others bidding on the artwork you can enjoy an “Art Salon” showcasing local emerging art students from the Denver School of the Arts and Art Students League of Denver. The salon will be juried by local artist Bill Starke.
All of the proceeds from the night will help fulfill Project Angel Heart’s mission of delivering nutritious meals, at no cost, to adults and children battling life-threatening illnesses in Colorado.
In 2010 the event generated nearly $60,000 for Project Angel Heart.

Project Angel Heartdelivers nutritious meals to improve quality of life, at no cost, for those coping with life-threatening illness. The agency began serving those battling disease in Denver in 1991, delivering meals to its first 12 clients from a single pan of donated lasagna. Most clients were battling HIV/AIDS and did not have the strength to leave their homes or prepare their own food. Since then, Project Angel Heart’sservice has expanded exponentially.
