The first Fridays of every month will be Photo Friday at the Center of Creative Photography on the University of Arizona campus. The first such event is this Friday, September 2. Photo Friday goes from 11:30am to 3:30pm. This will allow visitors to enjoy an unique opportunity to see part of the collection more up close and personal.
Each Photo Friday there will be various original works of photographic art on display in the Print Viewing Room. The photos will be unframed. This will allow viewers to see the photos as they are without the detail being hidden behind the glass and/or frame. This is an unique opportunity to see fine works of photography in a way usuallu only specialists see. Photos on display will include highlights from the museum’s collection as well as the lesser-known works.
Photo Fridays are scheduled to continue the first Friday of every month for at least the next 11 months. Each month there will be a different theme, so you can enjoy seeing different photographic works every month. Learn more about Photo Friday here.
