Come this fall, the brand’s latest collection, Perry Ellis Black will make its debut, while offering simple, chic, urban distinction of style wardrobe essentials for men’s closets.
The collection is made of 14 items, which includes: a cardigan, short and long sleeve T-shirts, a sport coat, a trench, a zip-up jacket, denim and dress pants – all in black. Perry Ellis Creative Director, John Crocco, created the concept of Perry Ellis Black, to consist of only black clothing because of the simplistic, elegant, timeless look that it offers to men’s wardrobes. Crocco stated, “Black is a versatile and practical shade to wear. There are few colors men can wear head-to-toe and actually look masculine and modern. That insight led us to create an edited collection of perfect black pieces that every guy should own.”

Perry Ellis Black, will be sold nationwide at Dillard’s and Macy’s stores starting September 15th and will also be available on perryellis.com. The retail prices will range between $45 – $185.
From September 19th through October 7th, Perry Ellis Face Book fans can enter a photo of themselves or someone they know who likes to get “dressed in the dark”. The makeover winner of the contest will win a full Perry Ellis Black collection.
