I wait for this event all year and it was finally here today! The 5th annual paranormal meet & greet, held at the historic Hannah House. A very awesome turn out. I was glad to be a part of it! A huge thank you to Danielle Garrison. She works all year long to put this event together and she has done an awesome job again this year. I think this year has been the best turnout by far! GREAT JOB DANIELLE!!!!!
There were so many paranormal groups that came out and set up tables. There were so many that just came out to mingle. There was a great food vendor as well. There was a band called Ghosts and Paper Hearts, they were awesome! I am gonna try to name the majority of the people that were there. If I forget someone I apologize now.
We had Indy Ghost Hunters, INDY Night Stalkers, MRIPA, IGHOST, GHIG, Lucky Paranormal, Lady PHI, Louisville Ghost Hunters, Keith Age, NKYPS, Paranormal Indy, ITAR, TRAMPS, Indiana Paranormal Inquisitor, Wanda Lou Willis, Dan T. Hall, Dale Kaczmarek, Whispers Estate, Black Moon Manor, Hoosier Paranormal Research, Hoosier Ghost Investigators, Paranormal 911, Mark Randall, Jace Epple, Dead Speak Paranormal Radio, Indiana Ghost Tech, RIP Illinois, SMP, Michigan Ghostbusters, The Phantom Tribe, IN Nomine, Sixth Sense Indy Paranormal, Indiana Paranormal Soul Searchers, PGR-IN, Ghosts and Paper Hearts, The Gaslight Inn, Columbus Ghost Trackers, SPADD paranormal investigators, Dadsville Ghost Hunters, Believe Paranormal, Indiana Horror Writers Association, The Skeleton Crew, Indiana SPI, Indiana Ghost Trackers Indiana Chapter, Haunted Heartland Paranormal Investigations, ParaEncounters Network, and Unseen Press.
This was really a great event this year and I was curious to see what others who attended thought about it. Here are some comments:
Pam Bunnell Warren “It was a totally awesome experience. Danielle Pitcher-Garrison did a most amazing job of putting it all together and making sure that is was the amazing event that it turned out to be.”
Joe Garavaglia “It was a freakin’ blast! So many new friends, great catchin’ up with old friends, an awesome networking opportunity. Somewhere between 600 and 800 people attended, the food vendor was awesome. And like Pam mentioned, Danielle Pitcher-Garrison once again outdid herself and needs to be recognized!”
Donna Orman Fields “S.P.A.D.D. was there for the first time and I’m EXHAUSTED ! It was non stop talking , viewing, networking and just having a GREAT TIME in general. Well worth the time and effort to get it together to get there… :-) 5 ***** (STARS) to the organizers…”
Jill Straub Crowell “The meet n greet was nice for running into other groups. But I HATED the band. I could not talk to people or listen to their recordings with a rock band playing. Period music to go with Hannah house would have been better.”
Christopher Schultz ” Great, other than the band. Did well w/the Hanz and Franz box marketing, as well as for Paraspeak, Dining with the Spirits, The Michiana Paranormal Expo, and Graphic F/X.”
Jeff Crowell “The band, and maybe the comics were probably a bad idea. Guests couldn’t hear the presentations that other groups spent a lot of time and effort on, and guests wouldn’t have been able to hear EVP’s. The “entertainment” was too loud for decent conversation among groups and people throughout the grounds, too. Without commenting on the style of music or the quality of comedians, how noisy it was, was the issue.”
