Join paddling maniacs and nature lovers for 3 days of camping, paddling, and socializing at beautiful Manatee Hammock Park in Titusville, Florida. This county park has tent camping, RV access, showers, bathrooms, and pavilions. The park is located at 7275 South US Highway 1, Titusville, Florida, 32780, phone number 321 264 5083.
The event takes place October 20-23.
This annual event brings together paddlers from all over the state to explore and nature worship. This area is a treasure trove of out of the way canals, lakes, and the ICW. It is a magnet for birds and fish. This area is not heavily populated (relative to south Florida), making the water trails more paddler friendly.
The paddling venues are nearby lakes and of course the Indian RIver Lagoon. There is an inland trip to the Econlockhatchee RIver. Other listed trips include Thousand Islands, Hatbill Park, and 8 others. The organizers have selected scenic parks and community boat ramps with great care.
