Julie Pacino, daughter of Academy Award winner Al Pacino, is currently being held in New York City after being arrested for DWI.
RadarOnline reports that the 21-year old was found to be intoxicated (with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit), after being stopped at a West Houston St. checkpoint shortly after 1am on Saturday. Results of the test, however, have not yet been released.
So far no attorney for the young woman has come forward as she continues to be held at the Manhattan Detention Complex until her arraignment.
Pacino has made a name for herself as a gifted softball athlete, winning all-state and all-section honors, as well as being named MVP 2 years running at Tappan Zee High School in Orangeburg, New York, before making it into the state’s final 4.
In order to break into the entertainment industry and become a filmmaker, Ms. Pacino transferred from New York to pursue her career through studies at the University of California.
As the daughter of 1 of Hollywood’s most memorable leading men, Julie was often photographed visiting and hanging out with her famous father while in Los Angeles.
Did you know? Al Pacino’s sisters, Roberta and Paula, are twins. Furthermore, Al Pacino’s relationship with actress Beverly DeAngelo also produced twins Anton and Olivia — who are Julie Pacino’s younger half siblings.
