We are truly becoming a digital society. Boards all across Palm Beach County, the Treasure Coast, and the rest of the state have begun to digitize years of old paperwork. Some of it was outdated even before it was filed, while other pieces had thought to have been lost forever. Now, with the power of the internet, board members, managers, and in some cases, members of the general public have easier access to the mountains of paperwork necessary for association living.
One of the primary providers of online access to HOA paperwork is TOPS software. The web services company AtHomeNet recently announced increased functionality through its partnership with community association industry software provider, TOPS Software. The integration of the two companies’ services allows for an association management company’s accounting information to flow into AtHomeNet’s community and association management company websites.
“As the first vendor accepted into the brand new ‘TOPS Authorized Integration Partner’ program, we’re honored to add new features to our integrated services, providing clients with the functionality they need to run their communities and businesses efficiently,” remarked AtHomeNet’s Director of Client Services, Tasha Beard. The TOPS Authorized Integration Partner program was established to identify companies who are leaders in their fields and have worked closely with TOPS to develop services specifically designed to enhance the TOPS client experience. Clients using the services of a partner company are assured to receive both initial integration assistance as well as ongoing support from TOPS for these services.
The increased functionality being announced today allows for the automatic exchange of additional information between TOPS and the AtHomeNet community websites including owners’ alternate mailing addresses and other contact information. Additionally, the new functionality lets residents subscribe through their community website to emails from their management company regarding bills and statements, letters and notices, and more.
“We’re excited to have AtHomeNet as the first TOPS Authorized Integration Partner, and we’re looking forward to providing our mutual clients even more control over their TOPS Software and the data that helps them manage their communities and associations,” said TOPS Founder and CEO, Jeff Hardy.
TOPS Software provides TOPS Professional and TOPS On Point, scalable, flexible software applications for the community association industry. Visit www.TOPSSoft.com for more information about TOPS Software and services.
Whether your association is a part of the AtHomeNet client base, or is affiliated with some other online company, odds are pretty good that the days of pen and paper, file cabinets and office equipment are numbered. The main question is, is this sort of information centralization a good thing?
