Gallup reports President Obama approval has fallen to a new low of 40%:
President Obama’s job approval rating is at a new low, averaging 40% in July 26-28 Gallup Daily tracking. His prior low rating of 41% occurred several times, the last of which was in April. As recently as June 7, Obama had 50% job approval.
Gallup’s three-day rolling average Obama Job Approval for July 27-29 finds Obama’s approval at 40% and his disapproval at 52%.
Rasmussen’s Obama Presidential Approval Index rating for July 30, hit -21 and registered the highest level of strong disapproval since November 9, 2010:
Obama continues to lose Independent voters. A recent Pew Poll found only 31% of Independent voters want to see Obama reelected, down from 42 percent in May.
