The NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series completes two events in the month of August and starts one of its biggest events of the year. Here’s where to see the stars of the NHRA in August.
- August 5th through 7th – the NHRA Northwest Nationals in Seattle, Washington. Pacific Raceways in Seattle will host the 24th annual event, featuring the Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro Stock divisions.
- August 18th through 21st – the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals in Brainerd, Minnesota. Brainerd International Raceway hosts the 30th annual race weekend featuring all four of the Full Throttle Drag Racing Series divisions.
- August 31st through September 5th – the MAC Tools US Nationals presented by Lucas Oil in Indianapolis, Indiana. The final race before the “Countdown to the Championship” begins, the US Nationals, held at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis, are the longest event on the schedule, taking place over six days including Labor Day Monday. The 57th annual US Nationals will feature all four top divisions as well as the NHRA Get Screened America Pro Mod Drag Racing Series.
