About 400 people lined up outside Newark Beth Israel Center (New Jersey) to audition for NBC’s The Biggest Loser on Saturday. Newark was one of 13 stops the show was making to find contestants.
“The Biggest Loser’s” stop in Newark was part of a 13-city search for season 13 contestants. Hopefuls wrapped around the block outside the hospital, waiting for their chance to be interviewed by casting directors for a shot on the show.
The casting directors asked groups of 10 what they would do right after they were on the show, when they were in the best shape of their life. Answers varied from wearing bikinis in front of ex-boyfriends to playing with their kids.
Casting director Karen Happel said she’s looking for people with positive attitudes and big personalities.
The episode will air sometime in January, 2012.
