A Center Point couple on July 21, were riding their motorcycle on FM480 just south of Center Point Texas and struck a deer.
Both Pamela Gray and her husband Marvin, were reportedly taken to University hospital in San Antonio Tx. Pamela suffered critical injuries in the accident. Marvin Gray had been listed in stable condition shortly after their arrival at the hospital.
Pamela Gray passed away earlier this morning July 29th at the hospital. Eight days after the accident.
This stretch of FM480 is known to have deer crossing the roads around sunset and dawn in the mornings. No word was given on whether the couple were wearing helmets at the time of the crash. Prayers go out to the Gray family for their loss.
I urge my readers to exercise caution and constantly be aware of these situations when out riding their motorcycles on Texas roads during these summer months because of the increased activity of deer along most of the rural roads and highways.
