‘Project Runway: Season Nine’ is giving fans the chance to win top prizes like those to be won by the fashion designers competing on the award-winning fashion competition. If you have an artistic touch you could win one of five prizes from HP, one of this season’s ‘Project Runway’ sponsors.
All you need to do is go online and create a sketch of an original runway look. The grand prize winner will receive an HP Touchsmart PC while four finalists will receive an HP Elite Tablet.
Sketching is done online here and you can submit up to ten original looks every day. The contest ends on August 29. The winners will be announced on October 14. You must be 18 to enter and be a resident of the United States.

‘Project Runway: Season Eight’ second place winner, and fan favorite, Mondo Guerra will judge. Since his time on ‘Project Runway’ has ended Guerra has been busy both on the runway and off. While maintaining his own fashion line, LoveMondoTrasho which recently put several limited edition looks based off his ‘Project Runway’ creations up for sale, Guerra has become an advocate for HIV awareness. Mondo Guerra disclosed his own HIV positive status while on the show.

Guerra has also recently designed looks for a Denver –based production of Hairspray, the musical based off of cult director John Water’s film of the same name. You can see some of Mondo Guerra’s theater creations by clicking here.
The sketch created must be an original work that is solely the creation of the designer. It may not be based off another designers work. This must be a new work of art. Any look that has previously been submitted to a contest or published anywhere, including online, is not eligible.
HP is also supplying products to the winning fashion designer of ‘project Runway: Season Nine’. The winning designer of the season will receive a $50,000 technology package from HP and Intel, along with the opportunity to sell their collection on Piperlime.com, $100,000 from L’Oreal Paris, and an editorial spread in Marie Claire magazine. On top of this HP has supplied all the contestants with tablets to use while on the show.
