One of the best parts of Christmas is simply that nothing ever really seems to happen as according to plan — you have various events happening all across the board, and it gets stressful. At the end of the day, though, it often ends up becoming one of the most fantastic parts of your entire life.
Such looks like it is definitely going to be the case on a “pre-Christmas” episode of “Modern Family” this coming season, which is going to be based on how the clan actually plans on spending the holiday together before it actually happens. Confused? Let’s go to a recent interview via executive producer Christopher Lloyd to TV Guide:
“We have a Christmas show, which is actually set a couple weeks ahead of Christmas. The family starts going over their various family plans — Mitch and Cam are going back to see his family, Jay and Gloria are heading out of town. They’ve all been under the assumption that there must be some day where they all overlap to celebrate Christmas, and they realize that day is today.”
Lloyd also says that this event will lead to a number of “unusual pairings” in the family joining forces and working to accomplish some all-important holiday traditions.
Are you excited for any “Modern Family” episode — but especially the ones themed all around holidays?
