exclusively for the State Fair by Minnesota artist Steve Thomas. Thomas’ piece captures iconic elements of the fair and is based largely on photos he took. Much of his inspiration comes from advertising art and vintage travel posters from the
early to mid-20th century. Thomas was selected as the official artist from a pool of nearly 80 applicants in the fair’s first-ever Commemorative Art Call for Submissions. Posters are just $10 and available at State FairWear Gift Shops and State Fair Foundation Kiosks around the fairgrounds. Save $3 with Blue Ribbon Bargain Book coupon #4. Proceeds support the Minnesota State Fair Foundation 501(c)(3) mission to preserve and improve State Fair buildings, grounds and educational experiences.
