Mexican nationals in Los Angeles will have the opportunity to explore business opportunities in Mexico. The exposition “Expo México Emprende” will teach about the support that federal and state governments and private institutions in Mexico offer to Mexicans who live in the United States and want to start a micro or small business, officials at the Mexican Consulate announced, on July 19 2011.
Every year Mexicans send “remesas” to their families in Mexico but, according to officials, very little goes to create business that produce jobs. The purpose of the exposition is to educate thousands of participants on how to start or promote micro, small and mid-sized business. Mexican Government will offer zero percent interest, long term loans.
This free event will take place in the month of August on Friday 19, Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
