Weather outlook, the next 5 days: The buzz of chain saws, lawn mowers and leaf blowers were all around you today as the post “Irene” clean-up got underway…Thankfully, mother nature delivered a perfect day for outdoor activity. Clean-up efforts will be ongoing for many days to come and the pleasant weather will stay put early into the weekend. This is the last full week of Summer and it is going to be one of the best weather weeks of the season…..The reason for all this nice weather is due to a large high pressure system that is in no hurry to leave us…By the middle to late weekend, a cold front might put a damper on things with a few showers late Saturday or Sunday.
Tuesday Night: Clear skies. Cool, with lows in the lower 50’s inland, mid and upper 50’s elsewhere. Winds becoming calm.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny with highs warming to 77 to 83. West winds 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday Night: A few clouds with lows in the mid and upper 50’s. Northeast winds around 5 mph.
Thursday and Friday: Fair skies overall, with daytime highs in the mid and upper 70’s. Overnight lows in the low and middle 50’s.
Saturday: Mostly sunny to start with partly cloudy skies for the afternoon. Slight chance of a late day shower. Highs in the mid 70’s.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, slight chance of a shower. Lows around 60.
