The brutal summer heat seems to be taking its toll on rock singer Meat Loaf.
Last Thursday Meat Loaf passed out on stage during a concert performance in Pittsburgh, but carried on with the show after paramedics revived him. “I f***ing fainted,” he told the crowd, “I have asthma … I can’t breathe … and then … oh wait, I forgot … I got poked by a pin and bled half to death … and then I got slapped in the face and my tooth is loose.”
TMZ is reporting that the 63-year-old rocker and recent Celebrity Apprentice contestant passed out again on Sunday night after a concert at the New Jersey Balloon Festival. According to reports, he lost consciousness backstage this time, but pulled himself together after ten minutes of oxygen.
The singer’s management has yet to comment on Sunday night’s incident, and at this time no concerts have been cancelled. Meat Loaf is slated to perform in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand over the next few months in support of his most recent album Hang Cool Teddy Bear. His next album, Hell in a Handbasket, is due in October.
