On July 11, 2011, Mila Kunis made headline news when it was announced that she had accepted a YouTube invitation to attend the Marine Corps Ball. Sgt. Scott Moore created a YouTube video inviting the raven haired beauty to attend the event with him on November 18, 2011. Sgt. Moore can give thanks to Mila’s Friends with Benefits co-star Justin Timberlake who urged Mila to go.
Appearing on Fox 411 to promote the movie, she was asked if she had considered Sgt. Moore’s invitation. The sergeant, who has been serving in Afghanistan, asked her to think about going to the Greenville, North Carolina dance with him.
“Hi Mila, I just want to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps. Ball with yours truly. So take a second to think about it and get back to me. All right, bye now.”
Timberlake continued to urge and Mila stated, “I’ll go, I’ll do it for you. Are you going to come?”
Justin answered, “They don’t want me! They want you. You need to do it for your country!”
Mila confirmed on air that she would attend the ball.
