What is it with every game on the Apple Store having birds? I get it, I really do, Americans love birds. We love the majestic flight; the cute peck, how they walk, and we also love it when they are angry. What’s wrong with just going down near Lady Bird Lake near downtown Austin and watching or feeding birds? This game is not angry birds not it is Line Birds presented by Robert Szeleney.
As you know when downloading games from the Apple Store at the very bottom of each game are ‘Reviews” posted by customers. I read some of these “reviews” and came across three that said this game was an iCopter clone. I have no clue what iCpoter is but if it is anything like this game than it will be a disappointment. It may not be my cup of tea but it may be yours.
Once again Line Birds is an “endless” game in which the point of the game is really to achieve a high score. Line Birds access Apple’s “Game Center” for what purpose I do not know. There is no way to post high scores and see where you rank around the world, unless there was something I missed. Anyway onto the game itself, fly from point A, and try not to crash into any walls. Simply, but, even on “easy” mode this game is very hard. The game is divided into three modes of “easy”, “medium”, and “hard” the difficulty never really changes though, just the speed of the game.
Line Birds offers six birds for you to take flight. First time players will play as Kirby, a blue bird the ability to glide through the air. In order to unlock more birds you will have to meet certain requirements. Pablo a cute orange bird was easily gained after I flew one thousand meters. After each flight your meters are added towards unlocking birds. However there is a black bird which I have not unlocked because I have to fly seven thousand meters without crashing. For players who are not patience you can shell out $0.99 cents to unlock all the birds immediately.
In my opinion paying to unlock all the birds is a waste because then there is no reason left to play the game. Not that there is much reason to play in the first place. I just do not seeing myself playing any more than I have to. Sure it is a challenge but more of a “I will break my iphone” challenge. One great thing I happen to enjoy about the game is the music. There is something so happy, so satisfying, so relaxing, so I don’t know what. Line Birds isn’t a boring game but to me it just not fun. I see no point on playing this game other than to listen to the awesome music.

So how has your week been? I got lost in downtown Houston WITH NO GAS!! Seriously more cities like Austin and Houston need gas stations inside the city. And on another note, I did see the Houston light rail downtown. Wow that was what Austin wanted but our city planners are stupid. Man my city needs to get there act together. Anywho watch me youtube.com/KingRetro1985
